Grand Canyon hike

I want to share my Grand Canyon hike this last Sunday with all of you. Four years ago my friend and hiking partner, Rick, and I summited Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, the most challenging endeavor of my life. This hike, from the top of the south rim of the canyon to the Colorado River and back up again in the same day is the second most challenging hike I have done–16 miles, 11 hours, 10,000 feet elevation change, 60 degree temperature difference between rim and river. Enjoy the photos, and as always, thank you for spending time here with me. I so appreciate all of you.
